Wise business account frozen or funds held?
When Wise freezes a business account, requests verification, or holds a balance, the trigger is usually account verification, business-activity questions, transaction patterns, or a risk review. VeriRail helps legitimate businesses understand the request, organise the evidence, prepare a structured response, and line up a banking-continuity plan so a single platform is not your only route to funds.
Do not respond again before checking the underlying issue
A second appeal or resubmission without correcting trust signals, policy gaps, fulfilment evidence, or documentation inconsistencies can extend the review or make escalation harder. VeriRail helps you understand what likely triggered the issue before you respond again.

FAQ
Why did Wise freeze or restrict my business account?
Freezes and verification requests usually relate to account verification, unclear business activity, unexpected transaction patterns, counterparty risk, or a periodic review. The in-app message or email indicates the area Wise is reviewing.
Should I just open a different account (Mercury, Revolut, a bank) instead?
A backup route matters, but opening a new account without understanding why the first was frozen tends to repeat the problem — the same activity raises the same questions. VeriRail helps you respond to Wise and prepare a stronger banking-continuity plan in parallel.
Can you get my frozen Wise funds released?
No. VeriRail does not recover funds or guarantee release, reinstatement, or any Wise decision. We prepare structured review and response materials based on what you provide.
What evidence is usually needed?
Business verification documents, an account-activity explanation, source-of-funds and invoice evidence, counterparty context, and any prior responses — depending on what Wise has asked for.
How does payment work?
If your case is accepted, VeriRail issues a proforma invoice. Payment is by business bank transfer before review work begins.
